Role-based access
Every staff member signs in as themselves. Roles control what they can see and do, with permission dependencies, explicit deny overrides, and owner protection so nobody can lock the owner out.
A full audit trail
Sales, voids, discounts, stock adjustments, sign-ins, and role changes are recorded against the person and device that made them.
Device sessions you control
See every device signed in to your account and revoke any of them — or sign out of all devices at once — the moment a phone goes missing or someone leaves.
Sign-in
Passkeys, not passwords written on the till
Zoolk supports passkey sign-in, so staff can unlock with the device's fingerprint, face, or screen lock instead of a shared password. Password sign-in is rate limited to slow down guessing attacks.

- Payments
- Mobile money top-ups are handled by a licensed payment provider, and you confirm every payment yourself. Zoolk never sees or stores your mobile money PIN.
- Data in transit
- The Zoolk apps and zoolk.net talk to our servers over encrypted HTTPS connections.
- Offline devices
- Offline data lives on the device so the till keeps working. Offline access tokens expire, and devices have to re-verify with the server at least every 24 hours.
- Sign-up protection
- Self-service registration is rate limited and includes bot protection, so accounts can't be mass-created.
- Your data, your call
- You own the business data you put into Zoolk. You can request a copy or ask us to delete your account at any time.
